I’m thinking of getting 3 nooks for my family but we want to register them under 1 account so that we can share the same library of books. We don’t all live together though and would want to buy books with separate credit cards. Is this possible?
I’m a bit unclear how the registration process works and what it’s limitations would be.
** I called B&N support and they said that multiple Nooks on 1 account can all see the same library.

I just started establishing credit not that long ago, but I have 3 credit cards and a Macys card. I been making my payments on time and everything is going well. My brother, has bad credit due to some poor choices he made a while back. He can’t even get approved for a card really. So he’s asked me to add him on as a Authorized User to one of my credit cards, but when his card comes in the mail to Destroy it. He won’t use it and doesn’t want to use it, he just wanted to be under one since he has no way of building credit so I can help him. (He bought his car outright cash so he can’t even do that to help his credit)
Now I was wondering, what are the Pros & Cons of adding my brother?
Remember, he is not going to use the card, he just wants me to help him help his credit.
Thanks.

I have small pizza place and no idea what to do in order to charge credit cards. I got from my friend credit card machine but I do not know what should I do next. The machine needs to be connected to the phone and I have the phone but who I contact to be able to use the machine?
Thanks for the help in advance.

With my business, customers have reocurring bills quarterly. I want to let them know that they can now pay with credit card, or give us their credit card number to keep on file. What is the best way to let 700 existing customers know that we are now capable of taking credit cards.

I applied for 3 credit cards at about the same time 2 years ago. They all got maxed out, and I never paid any of them after a while, and they got sent to collections. I paid off one, but it didn’t seem to help me any in terms of the score. Will paying off the others help? I need to raise my score, but if paying them off won’t help me I’d rather wait until I had a good paying job to settle them. I am on the phone with one of the credit people now as I type, but I need assistance on what to do ASAP!!! Please help!!!

Can you hurt your credit score by having many open credit card accounts that you are not using, even if there is no balance on them? If you cancel credit cards soon after you open them, can you hurt your score? If so, how long should you keep an account open before you close it?

I want to get my credit score up a little more, but I’m not sure what would be more beneficial. Pay off my auto loan completely? Or do I pay down some of my credit cards with high limits? Which is the best option to improve my credit score? Also if I pay down some of my credit cards will my limits get reduced?

Here is my situation. I just recently paid off all of my credit card debt and the only debt I have is a student loan I’m paying off, which I have never been late on.
I already have 1 Orchard Secured Mastercard and my credit score is already improving (it went up by 14 points this month). I’m thinking about expediting this by getting 2 more of the same card and using all 3 once a month to buy small things like car gas and chapstick and then pay it off.
Will getting all these cards in such a short time frame hurt my score, or will my idea of trying to rebuild credit quicker work?
I make enough to pay off the minimum, even If I had 3 cards. Only reason I was in the hole was because I was 17 years old and could not get a long-lasting job. I’m in the military now, so that is no longer an issue.
And why would I need a brokerage account? That sounds completely useless for what I’m trying to do.
