I used my brothers credit without his knowledge to get some credit cards. He later found out about them and he was upset of course. We made a deal for me to take care of financially all the cards. They have been paid off. This all took place less that four years ago. He get upset with me about different things and threatens to press charges on the cards. What is the statue of limitations on something like this and does the deal that we worked out between us to resolve this situation have any bearing on it whatsoever?

You cannot stop her from getting credit cards and ruining your credit unless you get a divorce. I dont have a credit card and on my credit report there are 16 credit cards with 4 in default?
